Terms and Conditions

This website together with the related Security Audit for Erlang/Elixir (SAFE) products and services, is further referred to as SAFE. 

By using SAFE, you agree with the following policies:

  • Erlang Solutions Terms of Use policy, which fully applies to SAFE.
  • Erlang Solutions Privacy Policy, which applies to SAFE.
  • Additional SAFE Terms of Use and SAFE Cookie Policy – see below.

Eligibility

1. Free access to SAFE is offered exclusively to maintainers of open-source projects.

2. Access is currently available by direct request only and is not publicly distributed.

3. Requests must be submitted via email from an official email address associated with the repository or organization in question.

4. The request must include:

A list of the GitHub repositories for which SAFE access is being requested.

Confirmation that each repository is publicly accessible and licensed under an open-source license.

License Grant & Activation

1. Upon review and approval of the request, the User will receive:

  • A non-transferable, repository-specific open-source license to activate SAFE; and
  • Basic documentation and instructions for getting started with the tool.

2. Licenses issued under this program are limited to the specified repositories and may not be reused, sublicensed, or applied to other projects or private repositories.

Additional SAFE Terms of Use

  1. SAFE is provided to you “as is” and “as available” and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. 
  2. We reserve the right to terminate the operation of SAFE service without prior notice. 
  3. SAFE allows you to scan your code for Erlang and Elixir vulnerabilities using static analysis methods.
  4. You can only use SAFE for open-source software. Any commercial use is prohibited. 
  5. Should you violate any of the Terms of Use, your account will be immediately deleted without warning.
  6. Should you find any bugs, please report them to safe@erlang-solutions.com. We value all contributions, but there is no guarantee that a particular issue will be addressed. 
  7. These Terms of Use, as well as the content and functionality of SAFE itself, may be changed at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available at https://www.erlang-solutions.com/services/security-audit-for-erlang-and-elixir/oss_terms.
