Erlang Factory London - Talk Submission open until end of day on 13 April 2011
The Erlang Factory London is back! The dates you need for your diary are 6, 7 and 8 June for the Erlang University courses and 9 - 10 June for the Erlang Factory Conference. Registration will be opening shortly and the programme will be announced mid April. To get a feel for the conference take a look at last years programme, photos, talk videos and slides. |
Erlang News
Erlang.org was re-launched on 24 March, with a brand new look and new layout. The latest release of Erlang/OTP, R14B02 was released on 17 March and is also available from the website. Spawnfest is now accepting entries from teams of Erlang developers. The teams will then compete in a 48-hour development competition to build the best Erlang application. The first contest is scheduled for July 9 - 10. You can keep up to date with Spawnfest on twitter and you can register your team on the website. Tino Breddin, one of Erlang Solutions Developers, discusses with Chad DePue the social science of tech communities in an interesting and enlightening interview on Erlang Inside.
GOTO Copenhagen is taking place from the 9 to 13 May 2011. There are 5 tracks and 75 talks not to mention two days of tutorials on the 9th and 10th. Francesco Cesarini will be giving an Erlang Tutorial Practical Erlang Programming and a talk - Introduction to Erlang. Register for the tutorial and conference here
This year's Erlang Workshop will take place on Friday, September 23, 2011 in Tokyo, Japan. The paper submission is now open and we welcome papers until Friday, June 3, 2011. Please submit a paper or a poster and attend the workshop. As usual the workshop is co-located with the International Conference on Functional Programming and a number of important functional programming workshops such as the Commercial Users of Functional Programming tutorials/talks and the ACM SIGPLAN Haskell Symposium.
