With Erlang use growing across the globe it was felt another User Group meeting was needed in Poland. Erlang Solutions is proud to announce that the first Warsaw meeting is happening later this month.

During the first Erlang User Group Meeting in Warsaw Michal Slaski will be presenting the functional programming language Erlang and its rapidly growing community. He will describe features of the Erlang VM, what is  concurrency oriented programming and how to get nearly linear speed up on multicore CPUs. He will also discuss some of the commercial and open source projects built using Erlang.

Michal Slaski is a senior Software Consultant at Erlang Solutions and has worked with Erlang since 2004. He is currently heading Erlang Solutions' new Krakow office in Poland, keeping the Erlang flag up high.
